Homs, SANA – Homs National Hospital has restarted its CT Scan Machine to provide imaging services to patients, after performing the necessary maintenance on it by the Hand in Hand Relief and Development organization, with the support of donors and organizations in Germany.
This machine is the newest and only one in the public sector, providing quality services to the largest segment of patients at a nominal price.
Hospital Director Dr. Elie Azar told SANA reporter that a study is underway to expand its departments and offer additional services to patients, such as establishing a main center for digestive endoscopy and a poisoning treatment center.
The CT Scan Department operates with a capacity of 100 scans per day, in addition to 3D imaging technology and an automated contrast injector.
