Idleb, SANA – The Minister of Emergencies and Disaster Management, Mr. Raed al-Saleh, has been briefed on the status of the projects implemented by the Ministry and the Syrian Civil Defense in Idleb province, asserting that work is underway to expand these projects, which will contribute to improving the living conditions of residents and providing a safe environment.
During a field visit on Saturday to some work sites in the province, Minister al-Saleh discussed with Idleb Governor Mr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman and local officials the possibility of supporting these projects and ways to expand them in the governorate’s rural areas. He also discussed improving service provision in affected areas, securing contaminated areas, and establishing emergency centers to assist residents in their safe return from camps.
Minister Al-Saleh also inspected the efforts to remove the rubble and mines left by the former regime in the city and its countryside, which constitute a major obstacle to the residents’ return to their areas and the resumption of their lives and work.
