Caracas, SANA- Member states of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) have renewed their confidence in the ability of the Syrian people and government to overcome the current phase of the new imperialist aggression against Syria.
In a statement Monday, ALBA member states expressed solidarity with the people and government of Syria and their categorical rejection of the terrorist attack on Aleppo and its surroundings.
They called on the international community to strongly, unequivocally and without hesitation condemn these criminal acts that seek to divide and destroy an ancient and multicultural society in a country that has faced for more than 13 years a war supported by external parties.
The ALBA Alliance called for full respect for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the brotherly country of Syria and the right of its people to determine their future, and live in peace, in strict adherence to the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.
