New York, SANA-The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced that over 5,800 children in the Gaza Strip were diagnosed with malnutrition during June.
In a post published on the X, UNICEF revealed: “More than 5,800 children were diagnosed with malnutrition in Gaza in June, including more than a thousand more than thousand children with severe acute malnutrition, an increase for the fourth month in a row.
In its statement, UNICEF called the situation “a child survival emergency,” adding that “aid must be delivered at speed and scale.”
