Berlin, SANA–As part of his official visit to Germany, Minister of Information Dr. Hamza al-Mustafa met with members of the Syrian expatriate community in Berlin, including journalists, academics, and professionals from various disciplines. The open dialogue session addressed media-related issues and the current situation in Syria.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of continued communication between the Syrian government and national competencies abroad. He stressed the need to leverage their expertise to support national media and enhance its role in the upcoming phase.
Dr. al-Mustafa also presented the Ministry of Information’s vision for developing a responsible and professional media environment that embraces freedom of expression, diversity, and transparency, aligned with Syria’s ongoing political and social transformations.
The minister pointed out that the future of Syrian media depends on effective partnerships with Syrian talent abroad, calling for the activation of media initiatives that reflect the aspirations of Syrians at home and abroad and serve the supreme national interest.
