Kuwait, SANA-Following a suspension that lasted more than a decade, Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways has announced the resumption of its flights to Syria. The first aircraft landed at Damascus International Airport, arriving from Kuwait International Airport.
In an official statement, the airline confirmed that flights will initially operate at a rate of one per day, with plans to increase to two daily flights before the end of the summer. This reflects the company’s intention to expand its presence in the Syrian market.
This move comes amid growing efforts to reconnect Syria with regional air transport networks, accompanied by economic and tourism-related anticipation regarding the outcomes of this renewed openness.
