Aleppo, SANA – The Military Academy in Aleppo has witnessed on Tuesday a graduation ceremony of 3,000 fighters belonging to the 76th Division of the Syrian Arab Army. The ceremony was attended by officials and military personnel.
The graduates performed a military parade, featuring displays of infantry, armored vehicles, helicopters, and drones, in addition to airdrops. These displays demonstrated the level of preparedness, discipline, and skill in dealing with various combat methods and field challenges.
Defense Minister Major General Engineer Marhaf Abu Qasra, during his participation in the graduation ceremony, said: “The graduation of a new batch of the Syrian Arab Army is the beginning of a comprehensive development process in structure, organization, and discipline, to create a highly efficient, professional army that will serve as a strong barrier against challenges and guarantee Syria’s security and stability.”
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the graduates took the military oath to be loyal soldiers of the Syrian Arab Republic, pledging to defend its land and people, spread stability throughout the country, and obey military orders.
The Minister of Defense and the Commander of the 76th Division also honored a group of outstanding officers and soldiers in recognition of their excellence during the training period.
