Damascus, SANA – Mohammed Al-Enezi, Chairman of Al Maha International Company for Artistic Production and Advertising, said that ‘Damascus Gate’ city for media, artistic and tourism production in Syria, which was signed today with the Ministry of Information, will attract Arab and international media.
In a statement to SANA, Al-Enezi stated that the project is qualitative and promising and adds to the recovery process in Syria. It constitutes a versatile investment in the cultural, real estate and tourism fields, reflecting the country’s general trend towards post-liberation recovery.
Al-Enezi added that the project represents an integrated platform for media and artistic production, provided by the most sophisticated technologies, which is a qualitative leap in terms of media infrastructure in Syria and the region. He commended the facilities provided by the Syrian government and the Ministry of Information.
Al-Enezi pointed out that the “Damascus Media Gate” project will be a major attraction centre for Arab and international media, due to its advanced technical character and cultural and historical character, as it includes nine cities designed in Islamic style under the supervision of specialists from Hollywood according to the highest standards, enabling any producer to benefit from these cities without the need for anything from abroad.
Al-Enezi said that the project is expected to achieve a qualitative leap in the Syrian drama and artistic production sector by providing an integrated production environment that reduces costs and increases the quality and speed of completion, and explained that Syria’s annual production capacity will see a doubling in the number of works in light of the availability of this integrated media incubator.
