President Al-Sharaa: Syria will not go backwards and we will pursue remnants of the deposed regime

Damascus, SANA- President Ahmad al-Sharaa stressed that Syria has moved forward and will not take a single step backward, and everyone’s mission is to preserve and support it, pointing out that people in the coastal areas are part of our responsibility, and it is our duty to protect them and save them from the evils of gangs of the deposed regime.

President Al-Sharaa said in comments on the recent events on the Syrian coast that the State will pursue remnants of the ousted regime, those who committed crimes against the people and seek to undermine security and civil peace.

“Today, in Syria, there is no difference between the authority and the people, Syria means everyone, and it is everyone’s mission to preserve and support it, this was embodied last night, there is no fear for a country with such a people and such a spirit,” President al-Sharaa said in the TV speech.

The President addressed the Assad gangs saying “by your heinous act of killing those who protect Syria and stay up to serve it, storming hospitals and terrorizing the innocent, you have attacked all Syrians, by doing so, you have committed a great and unforgivable sin, and you have received a response that you cannot bear, so, throw away your weapons and surrender before it is too late.”

“We will hunt remnants of the deposed regime, those who refused to do anything but continue in their oppression and tyranny, those who committed crimes against the people, and those who seek to undermine security and civil peace,” President al-Sharaa said.

The President went on to say that “We will bring the ciminlas into a fair court and we will continue to restrict weapons to the state, and there will be no loose weapons in Syria, God willing, and anyone who attacks defenseless civilians and takes people for the crimes of others will be held accountable…our people in the Coastal areas are part of our responsibility and it is our duty to protect them and save them from the evils of gangs of the fallen regime.”

“I call on all forces that have joined the battle sites to fully obey the military and security leaders there, and to immediately evacuate the sites to control the breaches that have occurred, so that the military and security forces can complete their work in the best possible way,” the President added.

Syria has moved forward and will not take a single step backwards, so be assured that it is in God’s protection, the President concluded.
