Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Bassam Sabbagh, received a phone call from Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community, Ahmed Attaf, with the two sides discussing the attack launched by “Al-Nusra Front” ” Hayʼat Tahrir al-Sham” and the allied terrorist groups in northern Syria, and the risks resulting from it.
Minister Sabbagh expressed his appreciation to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria for the support it provides in the UN Security Council as an Arab member, especially its support for holding an emergency session of the Council today to discuss the repercussions of the terrorist attack on the country.
He stressed that the threat of terrorism is not limited to a specific country, but rather it extends to other countries with the aim of spreading chaos and destruction.
Minister Attaf, for his part, expressed his country’s firm stance and absolute solidarity with the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic in the face of the terrorist threats.
