Damascus, SANA- Minister of Awqaf (Islamic Endowments), Dr. Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed, has affirmed that what is taking place in Aleppo, its countryside and other areas is a Turkish-Zionist scheme with American cover targeting Syria through their favorite tools of terrorists and Takfiri mercenaries.
In an interview with Al-Souriya channel Monday night, al-Sayyed noted that during the past years, mercenaries were being gathered and trained after being sent from all countries of the world to Syria via Turkey.
The Minister said that the tools used in this Turkish-Zionist scheme are terrorists and mercenaries, headed by Jabhat al-Nusra, which is a branch of “al-Qaeda”, the first international terrorist organization, and Daesh “ISIS” terrorist organization.
He stressed that these extremist Takfiri movements are tools and products of the West, which uses them at the appropriate time under Islamic slogans.
Those who attacked Aleppo, the capital of history, are criminals who have no religion or morals and use religion as a cover, and their barbaric attack is based on looting, robbing homes, killing and revenge, said al-Sayyed.
He added “We have the right to restore every inch of our land in the north and the Golan and to expel the Turkish, Israeli and American occupiers, and this right is inalienable.”
The Minister called on the Syrian people to depend on the statements of the valiant Syrian Arab Army and the national media as their sources of news, calling for confronting the hostile media on social media platforms with awareness, steadfastness and faith.
