Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed the presence of terrorists in Syria is due to the presence of US occupation forces on its territory.
“US military presence on Syrian territory is a violation of the Syrian principles and laws, and the continued presence of terrorists in this country is related to the US presence there”, IRNA Agency quoted the ministry’s spokesman, Esmail Baqhaei, as saying at a press conference on Monday.
Baqhaei noted that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi conveyed, during his visit to Syria, his country’s decisive stance in support for Syria against terrorists, as there will be a detailed assessment of the situation there.
