Baghdad-SANA, Iraqi National Intelligence Council affirmed that what is happening in Syria is terrorist acts, and Iraq will stand by it in confronting terrorism.
The Iraqi News Agency “NAA” quoted Iraq’s National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji as saying in a statement “the National Intelligence Council discussed Sunday, the latest developments and events on the Syrian scene and the threats that may result from them and the measures that must be taken to preserve Iraqi national security.”
“what is happening in Syria are terrorist acts, and Iraq will stand by the brotherly Syrian people and their heroic army in confronting terrorism.”al-Araji stressed.
The statement indicated that the council had taken a number of recommendations that will be presented to the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces.
