Oman, SANA- Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi affirmed on Sunday their countries’ support for Syria and their rejection of everything that threatens the country’s security and stability.
The Jordanian News Agency Petra reported that the two ministers discussed during a phone call the situation in Syria, stressing their countries’ support for it and the necessity of reaching a political solution that ends the crisis in the country to ensure its stability and its citizens’ safety, preserves its unity and sovereignty.
The two ministers also discussed ways to enhance relations between the two countries and regional issues, especially efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza strip.
They pointed out the need for the international community to take effective and immediate measures to stop the aggression on Gaza and ensure the immediate and complete entry of humanitarian aid to all parts of the Strip.
