Premier al-Halaqi… No real will by neighboring countries to fight terrorism

Damascus, SANA-Prime Minister, Wael al-Halaqi asserted that the neighboring countries don’t have a real will to support an international regional alliance to fight terrorism.

Meeting a visiting Australian delegation that includes activists, athletes and journalists, al-Halaqi said that “Syrians now are stronger, more resilient and gather around their leadership and army to fight terrorism.

Al-Halaqi briefed the delegation on the damage inflicted upon the infrastructure in Syria due the systematic terrorist attacks perpetrated by the terrorist organizations, hoping the visiting delegation to convey the real image of what they have seen on ground in Syria to the Australian government and people.

Syria, al-Halaqi added, always supports the international initiatives that serve the political solution without foreign intervention or dedications.

Priest David Smith, head of the delegation, for his part pointed out that the delegation noticed during visiting a number of Syrian provinces the strength of the Syrian government with all its governmental, civil and sport institutions and its steadfastness in spite of all what has been exposed to during the last four years.

He added that the people who have a sense of patriotism such the Syrian one, no power can defeat it.

The delegation, who are on a visit to Syria till July 23rd, participated in a number of sports events and visited Damascus and Lattakia.
